VP Academics

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Department Representatives to coordinate their events, foster cross-departmental connections and community engagement

• Advocate for A&H students at Educational Policy Committee meetings and on department-specific issues

​

VP Communications

Responsibilities:

• Manage the AHSC Social Media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn) and our website

​

• Design social media posts, posters, stickers, and other new merchandise for the A&H Faculty

​

• Foster community engagement by promoting AHSC and other Faculty-wide events, initiatives, and student projects

What you'll bring to the role:

• A passion for the Arts & Humanities Community

• An interest in graphic design or marketing

​

*Familiarity with Canva and Discord/Slack is an asset​

VP Equity

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Diversity in Curricula project, working with Department Representatives to review the accessibility and breadth of course content across A&H and develop actionable solutions

​

• Coordinate the AHSC Charity fund, selecting a community partner and generating fundraiser events plans

​

• Develop the Equity Journal and other initiatives to uplift student voices, advocating for EDI support and implementation across the student experience 

​

VP Events

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other AHSC portfolios to plan events to engage with the student body. Some of our annual events include:

  • Date with a Book​

  • Purple Sex - A Sex Positive Game Night

  • Arts & Humanities Formal​

  • The AHSC Play

• Facilitate local theatre reviews
